This morning, the fog wrapped itself around me like a whisper, low-hanging clouds cradling the earth in serenity. Driving along the coast, the ocean stretched out under the silver veil—soft, endless, and still. No chaos. No rush. Just calm.

Traffic thickened, but my mind wandered elsewhere, drawn to the misty horizon. Until life brought me back.
First: Alone by the roadside sat a man, his wheelchair his only companion. I felt a surge of gratitude for the simple act of walking.
Second: Further down, a homeless man dragged a grocery cart weighed down by his life’s belongings. Gratitude bloomed again—for shelter, for comfort, for all I so often take for granted.
The road grew louder, busier, but my ears were ringing with something else.
Listen.
Third: I heard the call. A message threaded through the fog. Was the calm not just in the clouds, but within those whose paths I crossed? Were they messengers guiding me toward deeper awareness?
I realized—my choices are mine. Not all perfect, not all wise. But today, I choose to live the life I love. To seek truth. To share value. To walk forward with presence and purpose.
The lesson was clear: The calm within life’s storms isn’t something you find. It’s something you choose.
Real life. Real lessons. Real freedom.
